ISLAMIC TERMS
Islam:
Islam means complete submission to the will of Allah i.e. to submit o the orders of Allah and act of with His commands.
Mu’mins and Muslims:
Those who believe in Allah and obey Him.
Musthhhab:
Which is not clear rather it is correct or not.
Makruh:
Makruh is that which is not haram but is not appreciated.
Kafar:
Any one who does not believe in Allah,Islam
(i.e Tauhid , Prophets ,Holy revealed books , Angels , Day of judgment.)
Ramzan:
It is one of Islamic months specified for keeping fast.
Miraj Sharif:
One night ,our Holy Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) by the order of Allah ,traveled from Makkah to Baitul Muqaddas and then from there to the seven Heavens and beyond where Allah wanted Him.The Holy prophet(PBUH) visited the Paradise and Hell and then returned to Makkah the same night. This is known as Miraj Sharif.
Haram:
Any thing which is legally forbidden and absolutely proved to be so by Dalil-e-Qatai (undeniable argument) one who does it is Fasiq and deserved punishment
Halal:
Halal means permissible,any thing which is permissible according to Islamic Shariah is called Halal.
Makruh Tahrimi:
It is near about Haraam.It is forbidden and proved be so by Dalil-e-Zanni, but who does not acceptit is not Kafir but is very sinful.
Makruh Tanzihi:
It is near about Hilal, the act of which brings God’s blessings if avoided.If done, it is bad but not punishable.
Mubah:
It is an act or doing of which brings neither any blessings nor punishment.
Quran:
It is the last divine Holy book of Allah which is revealed to last Holy Prophet Hazrat Muhammad (P.B.U.H) through Angel Hazrat Jibril (PBUH). It is a complete code of life.It is revelation of the Holy Quran was completed in 23 years.The revelation of Holy Quran was first started in the cave of mountain Hira in the Holy city of Makkah.Surah Al-Alq was the first Surah to be revealed to the Holy prophet Hazrat Muhammad(PBUH).There are 114 Surah in holy Quran.
Qri’at:
The recitation of Holy Quran is called QRI’AT.
Iman:
It means believe in Allah all his qualities angls, heavenly body Prophets by heart and believe as true all that the Holy prophet (PBUH) brought from Allah and to proclaim this belief.
Kufr:
It is the act of not believing in any one of the important article of Iman.
Shirk (Polytheism):
Shirk means to make some one partner in Allah’s being or attributes.By making some one partner in Allah’s means to have belief in two or more gods and partnership in attributes means to ascribe Allah’s attributes to some other either Angels Prophets ,martyres,saints or spiritual leaders can have no attributes special to Allah.Itis second greatest sin after Kufr and one who commits it will never enter Paradise.
A’itikaf:
Staying in a Mosque or at home in a separate room for devotion and prayers is called (A’ITIKAF) in the last ten days of month of Ramzan.
Sadaqa Fitra:
It is date amount which Islam has ordained Muslims to give for the completation of fasting at the end of Ramzan it is given at the rate of 1 ¾ seers or 2 ½ kg of Wheat or other kind of food grains or cost equivalent to the value of food grain is allowed to be given. It is compulsory for every Muslim who owns the capital over above his needs .It should be given by all the members of the family even by a child born on Eid day before Eid prayers. It should be given before proceeding for the Eid prayers. If one does not pay it intime, however, it will remain due as long as one has not paid it. Fasting is not a precondition for it.

It is near about Haraam.It is forbidden and proved be so by Dalil-e-Zanni, but who does not acceptit is not Kafir but is very sinful.
Makruh Tanzihi:
It is near about Hilal, the act of which brings God’s blessings if avoided.If done, it is bad but not punishable.
Mubah:
It is an act or doing of which brings neither any blessings nor punishment.
Quran:
It is the last divine Holy book of Allah which is revealed to last Holy Prophet Hazrat Muhammad (P.B.U.H) through Angel Hazrat Jibril (PBUH). It is a complete code of life.It is revelation of the Holy Quran was completed in 23 years.The revelation of Holy Quran was first started in the cave of mountain Hira in the Holy city of Makkah.Surah Al-Alq was the first Surah to be revealed to the Holy prophet Hazrat Muhammad(PBUH).There are 114 Surah in holy Quran.
Qri’at:
The recitation of Holy Quran is called QRI’AT.
Iman:
It means believe in Allah all his qualities angls, heavenly body Prophets by heart and believe as true all that the Holy prophet (PBUH) brought from Allah and to proclaim this belief.
Kufr:
It is the act of not believing in any one of the important article of Iman.
Shirk (Polytheism):
Shirk means to make some one partner in Allah’s being or attributes.By making some one partner in Allah’s means to have belief in two or more gods and partnership in attributes means to ascribe Allah’s attributes to some other either Angels Prophets ,martyres,saints or spiritual leaders can have no attributes special to Allah.Itis second greatest sin after Kufr and one who commits it will never enter Paradise.
A’itikaf:
Staying in a Mosque or at home in a separate room for devotion and prayers is called (A’ITIKAF) in the last ten days of month of Ramzan.
Sadaqa Fitra:
It is date amount which Islam has ordained Muslims to give for the completation of fasting at the end of Ramzan it is given at the rate of 1 ¾ seers or 2 ½ kg of Wheat or other kind of food grains or cost equivalent to the value of food grain is allowed to be given. It is compulsory for every Muslim who owns the capital over above his needs .It should be given by all the members of the family even by a child born on Eid day before Eid prayers. It should be given before proceeding for the Eid prayers. If one does not pay it intime, however, it will remain due as long as one has not paid it. Fasting is not a precondition for it.
